28 Feb Our Work for Supporting a Greener Future
Enginuity Power Systems is very much a “green” focused company, putting together a technically elegant – yet user friendly – affordable solution for home-by-home independence from the highly inefficient and aging electrical grid, and in doing so helping homeowners contribute to lowering the billions of tons of carbon the U.S. puts into the air every year; and saying no to power blackouts, let alone saving money.
For us, that’s a real feel good story. But it feels even better when we receive affirmation from a leading industry presence that makes it a point to note that what we are doing should be recognized.
That happened recently when organizers of The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating (AHR) Expo 2021 – which has arguably grown into the leading event for the HVACR industry, and a beacon for new progress – announced their awards for distinctive industry accomplishments.
The AHR Expo Innovation Awards is an annual competition that, according to their website, “honors the most inventive and original products, systems and technologies.” Judges are drawn from all corners of the industry: education, engineering, manufacturing, and more. People in the front lines. And from them we were very happy to learn they selected Enginuity as a finalist in the Green Building Category.
The acknowledgement was for the Enginuity Quadra-Gen concept, a potential product that expands on our upcoming E|ONE, a private home generation appliance – which provides electricity, space heat, and hot water for the home – with the added deliverable of cooling; thus the “quad”.
This comes just a year after the E|ONE won more awards for its green technology at the 2020 International Builders Show in Las Vegas than EVER in the history of the show.
Let’s be honest and acknowledge that the business of business is business. But when you are fortunate to be in a business that is pointed toward improving the common good, then that’s special. For us, for our investors, and for a greener future.
