18 Dec It’s Time To Start Seeing Things Differently
The average US household produces 7.5 tons of CO2 equivalents per year, contributing to the tens of trillions of tons of U.S. emissions that are quickly changing our environment.
20% of US emissions are from heating, cooling, and powering households – such as natural gas for space and water heating, and electricity for heating, cooling, lighting and powering everything from refrigerators and TVs to electric razors and hair blowers.
So what do we do? Well, the U.S. grid is the U.S. grid – highly inefficient in producing and transmitting electricity to homes. A grid now being overwhelmed by growing electric requirements and climate change in several regions of the country, all while aging well past its anticipated lifespan, leading to increasing rolling blackouts.
I think we all understand that the electrical grid is not the sole long-term answer to home power and especially for heat, which is very costly to generate from electricity.
What we need to do is to is look at new, innovative solutions in home power and heating – like the E|ONE. This private home generation appliance replaces the grid, one household at a time. It’s ultra-quiet so that it can be installed indoors and sized to fit easily in a closet space or basement.
It can run off natural gas so it’s a ready answer for more than 70 million U.S. homes that tap into the NG grid (which, by the way, is safely buried away from storms and fires). As an alternative, the E|ONE can also run off stored propane, and is compatible with lower carbon fuels in the future.
It’s time to start seeing things differently. Take a closer look at the E|ONE.
